Hi there!

I’m a Spanish-Guatemalan children’s illustrator from Barcelona, where I grew up in a multicultural home enjoying fresh tomatoes, painting lessons, and sunny days.

I moved to Finland to pursue a Master of Arts at Aalto University, and for the past eight years I’ve been living near Helsinki working from my home studio - a place where I often see squirrels climbing trees, birds singing in a hundred languages, and sometimes even a mother deer with her fawn, or a fox who doesn’t seem to mind my presence.

My illustrations are inspired by nature, and I’m especially drawn to stories that celebrate diversity, curiosity and inclusion.
